5% = .05

.05 x 300 = 15

So part A that's 15 fewer cars.

285 x (1/5) = 57 NASCAR cars

285 x (1/3) = 95 WWII vintage cars

285 - (57 + 95) = 285 - 152 = 133

So part B that's 133 cars that are neither NASCAR or WWII

Answer:

The difference in the numbers of cars manufactured in August and September is 15 and cars manufactured in September were neither NA SCAR model cars nor world war II vintage model cars are 133

Explanation:

Cars manufactured in August = 300

In September, action wheels manufactured 5 %fewer models cars than in August.

So, cars manufactured in September =
300-5\% *  300

=
300-(5)/(100) *  300

=
285

Part A)The difference in the numbers of cars manufactured in August and September = 300-285 = 15

Part B)

Of the model cars manufactured in September, 1/5 were models of NA SCAR cars and 1/3 were World War II vintage models.

No. of NA SCAR cars =
(1)/(5) * 285 =57

No. of World War II vintage models. cars =
(1)/(3) * 285 =95

So, cars manufactured in September were neither NA SCAR model cars nor world war II vintage model cars = 285-(95+57) =133

Hence the difference in the numbers of cars manufactured in August and September is 15 and cars manufactured in September were neither NA SCAR model cars nor world war II vintage model cars are 133
