225/1000 = 45/200 = 9/40

So

22.5% =
\sf{(22.5)/(100)}

Multiply 2 on both sides:


\sf{(22.5*2)/(100*2)=(45)/(200)}

Divide by 5 on both sides:


\sf{(45/5)/(200/5)=(9)/(40)}

So your final answer is
