using the equation y=mx+b, "m" is the slope and "b" is where the graph crosses the "y-axis". so in this case the graph will cross the "y-axis" at -3. Start on the y-axis at the coordinate pair (0,-3). your slope is 2/5 so you will move up two spots and move to the right 5 spots, you can reverse this order and go down to spots and to the left 5 spots to continue your graph in the other direction. hope this helps
