Answer:

Both are correct

Explanation:

A store is having a 20% off sale. Micheal says that he can find the sale price of an item that has a regular price of "p" by evaluating the expression 0.8"p". Susan says that she can find the sale price for the same item by evaluating the expression "p"-0.2"p"

Store is having 20% off sale. Discount is 20%

LEt the regular price is 'p'

The discount price is 20% of p that is 0.2p

Sale price is original price - discount price

that is p - 0.2p . So Suna is correct

p - 0.2 p = 1p- 0.2p = 0.8p

So Michel is also correct

Hence, Both are correct
