Solve the equation 7x^2-8x=-1

7x²-8x=-1
7x²-8x+1=0
on theorem Vieta if 7-8+1=0 ⇒x₁=1
(7x²-7x)-(x-1)=0
7x(x-1)-(x-1)=0
(x-1)(7x-1)=0
x₂=1/7
Answer: x₁=1 x₂=1/7
