you would multiply -3 by 7, and get -21. then you would add 5. the denominator stays the same, so the answer is

To change a mixed number to a improper fraction, first multiply the whole number by the denominator, then add the numerator;the denominator stays the same.
I think the choices are wrong
The answer is -16/7
