(you do it like this) .... (90*7) +(8*7)= 90 times 7= 630 and 8 times 7= 56= 630+56=686. .. ur welcome

You can't use the distributive property for this. It would have to be something like 3(2+x) or 5(1+8+5). Instead, you just multiply them and get 686. Hope this helps!
