Ok, so starting our with the given, -8/9 * 5/6 equals -40/54. This can be divided by 2, so the answer will be -20/27.

-8/9 * 5/6

Multiply the numerators and denominators together:

-8 * 5 = -40
9 * 6 = 54

-40/54

Divide 2 to the numerator and denominator:

-40 / 2 = -20
54 / 2 = 27

-20/27
