To multiply a mixed fraction by a whole number here is an example:
Convert the mixed number into an improper fraction suppose we had
5 2/6 convert it into a improper fraction which is 32/6 then the the whole number that you are going to multiply it by suppose we had the number 3 you would then have to make 3 the whole number into a fraction 3/1 then you would multiply 32/6 by 3/1 and you would get 96/6 if it were simplified it would be 16/3
Hope i helped :))
