the formula for area of a square is
A=s^2

multiply 3/5 x 3/5= 9/25 sq. yds. = .36 sq. yds.

A=s^2\\s=(3)/(5)\\A=((3)/(5))^2\\A=(9)/(25)\\A=0.36

The area of the square is 0.36 yards.
