She ran 6 times
1 time is 24/6=4 min
John ran the fastest because 3 is faster than 4

John, since 24/6=4, and 3<4.
You need to divide 24 by 6 so that you can find how long she took for each lap. no complex math is needed for John since they tell you how long he took for the one lap he ran.
