Amit and Tiana simplified the expression -4 [8 + (-6) +3] in different ways Amit`s first step was to add the three numbers within the brackets. Tiana`s first step was to multiply each of the number within the brackets by -4. Part A:- Write an expression to represent Tiana`s first step. In the expresssion, show which numbers are being multiplied together, but don`t find each of the products. Part B:- What should Tiana have writtern as the product when she multiplied -6 by -4.

Part A: (8 × (-4)) (-6 × (-4)) (3 × (-4))

Part B: -6 × -4 = 24. So when multiplying -6 by -4, the product should be 24

But basically, Tiana's way of solving this question is correct while Amit's is incorrect. And this is because Amit is using PEMDAS, unlike Tiana.
