5/7 = .714
4/6 = .666
.714 > .666
So then 5/7 > 4/6

Convert to decimals.
5/7 = 0.71
4/6 = 0.67
So yes, 5/7 is greater than 4/6.
Or you can convert to denominators of 42:
5/7 = 30/42
4/6 = 28/42
Compare the the numerators.
30 > 28, so 5/7 > 4/6
