From 6:57, it takes 3 minutes to get to 7:00
subtract 3 from 47 (44) and add it to 6:57.
7:00 + :44 =
7:44

6:57
Add 3 minutes to it and subtract 3 from the elapsed time.
6:57 + 3 = 7:00
47 - 3 = 44
Now add 44 to 7:00:
7:00 + 44 = 7:44
