2x+8y=12
-2x -2x
8y/8=(-2x+12)/8
y=-0.25+1.5

x-2y=0
-x -x
-2y/-2=-x/-2
y=0.5x

the \ slope \ intercept \ form \ is : \\ \\ y= mx +b \\ \\ 2x+8y=12 \ \ |-2x \\ \\8y=-2x+12\ \ /:8\\ \\y=-(2)/(8)x+(12)/(8)

y=-(1)/(4)x+(3)/(4)\\ \\ m=-(1)/(4)

x-2y=0 \ \ | -x \\ \\-2y=-x \ \ /:(-2)\\ \\y=(1)/(2)x \\ \\ m= (1)/(2)
