Do 0.94 x 10 which is 9.40
Therefore 10 oranges + 10 apples = $9.40
$10.05 - $9.40 = $0.65
Then, 1 apple is $0.65

Answer: $0.1

Explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to write an equation:

The total cost of the fruits is $ 10.5, that cost is equal to the product of the price of each apple (a) and the number of apples bought (11) plus the product of the price of each orange (o) and the number of oranges bought (10).

10 o + 11 a = 10.5

Since each orange costs $0.94.

10 (0.94) + 11 a= 10.5

Solving for a

9.4 + 11a = 10.5

11a = 10.5-9.4

11a = 1.1

a = 1.1/11

a = $0.1
