The answer would be C because if the Constitution was perfect there wouldn't be a need to have amendments.... hope this helped :)

"
C. They wanted to make it possible to modify the Constitution over time" is correct. The Founding Fathers knew that times would change, and therefore the Constitution should be able to change as well.
