The formula for the test hypothesis for proportion

Z=\frac{p-p_0}{\sqrt[]{(p_0(1-p_0))/(n)}}

Given

\begin{gathered} p=(63)/(108)=0.5833 \\ \\ p_0=0.59 \\ n=108 \end{gathered}

Substitute into the formula

\begin{gathered} Z=\frac{0.5833-0.59}{\sqrt[]{(0.59(1-0.59))/(108)}} \\ \\ Z=\frac{-0.0067}{\sqrt[]{0.000224}} \\ \\ Z=-0.1416 \\ To\text{ two decimal place} \\ Z=-0.14 \end{gathered}
