$(1)/(1.9)=(2)/(x)\\(1.9)/(1)=(x)/(2)\\(1.9(2))/(1)=(x(2))/(2)\\(3.8)/(1)=x\\x=3.8\\\\A=lw\\A=(3.8)(2)\\A=7.6$

The area is 7.6 feet.
