We are asked to determine the slope between two points. To do that we will use the following formula:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

We are given the following points:

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(-7,2) \\ (x_2,y_2)=(9,6) \end{gathered}

Replacing the points we get:

m=(6-2)/(9-(-7))

Solving the operations:

m=(4)/(16)=(1)/(4)

Therefore, the slope is 1/4
