A balloon is 15 feet above the ground and rising at a rate of 10 feet per minute. A second balloon is 40 feet above the ground and descending at a rate of –2.5 feet per minute. How long will it take for the balloons to be at the same height?

Answer: Both of the ballon will meet at 35 above ground

Explanation:

1st ballon:15 add 2 min will give you 35 { 15+10+10 }

2nd ballon: 40 add -2 min will give you 35 { 40+(-2.5)+(-2.5) }
