y = 2x + 6 ⇒ 2x - y = -6 ⇒ 6x - 3y = -18
3x - y = 6 ⇒ 3x - y = 6 ⇒ 6x - 2y = 18
-y = -36
y = 36
2x - 36 = -6
+36 +36
2x = 30
2 2
x = 15
(x, y) = (15, 36)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1y - 2x = 8 ⇒ -2x + 1y = 8 ⇒ 4x - 2y = -16
16 + 4x = 2y ⇒ 4x - 2y = -16 ⇒ 4x - 2y = -16
8x = 0
8 8
x = 0
4(0) - 2y = -16
0 - 2y = -16
-2y = -16
-2 -2
y = 8
(x, y) = (0, 8)
