3x+4(2x+5) = 6x + 5x + 5
3x + 8x + 20 = 6x + 5x + 5
11x + 20 = 11x + 5
11x - 11x = 5 - 20
0 = -15
Impossible
So Lauren is wrong. this 2 expressions are not equivalent
