Ok sorry let me put it this way.... Millie has 15 counters Tom has 8 counters how would you do a Comparison? On how much each counter would a child gets? Would you just add 15+8?

Yes because 15+8=23 divide that into a number that could each child have and just make it into equal amounts

You would have to 15-8 because it's saying that in comparison
