600*40=24,000 because you take away the zeros off of 600 and take away the zeros off of 40 and you get 6*4=24 and then you add the zeros at the end and you get 24,000
Answer=24,000

Just plug it in your calculator.
600 * 40 = 24,000
Or you can multiply 6 * 4 and count the zeroes.
3 zeroes
6 * 4 = 24
24,000
