area=legnth times width
legnth=9
width=4.25
so 9 times 4.25=38.25 in^2 or square inches
since it was to the hundreth place, then the answer must be to the hundreth place
answer is 38.25 square inches
or
38.25 in^2

A=L·W
A=9·4,25
A=38,25 in²
