The surface area of the figure is given by

Asquare*eachface

In this case there are 5 squares blue , 2 green and 2 triangles.

top and bottom squares area are:

L*L=4*3=12cm^2

For the lateral faces, the area will be:

\begin{gathered} L*L=6*3=18cm^2 \\ L*L=6*4=24cm^2 \end{gathered}

We have 3 lateral faces and the other two on the top and bottom of the square:

SurfaceAreaSquare=12*2+18+24*2=90cm^2

And now, we have 2 triangle and two squares in green.

AreaSquare=L*L=5*3=15cm^2*2=30cm^2
AreaTriangle2=(b*h)/(2)=(6*4)/(2)=(24)/(2)=12cm^2*2=24cm^2

The surface area is the sum of the green area+ blue area

SurfaceAreaTotal=90cm^2+30cm^2+24cm^2=144cm^2
