How do you graph y=3x-5

use desmos.com to see it.
slope is up 3, over 1
y-intercept is -5

so y=mx+b form
m=slope=rise over run
b=y intercepe or where it crosses the y axis

so one way is to input values for x and get vales for y exg
if x=1 then y=-2
if x=2 then y=1
if x=0 then y=-5 so some points are
(x,y)
(1,2)
(2,1)
(0,-5)
(3,4)
then plot those points
