Why were radio comedies so popular during the 1930s?

New comedies satirized the highly unpopular president. Radios had only recently become available for people to buy. Comedies offered a chance for people to forget their worries. People had not yet discovered comedic movies.

there is a more elaborate reason but in that time everyone had a radio and they were fairly popular so B is correct
