$\begin{array}{ccc}1m&-&\£3.20\\\\1(1)/(4)m&-&x\end{array}\\-------------\\multiply\ on\ the\ cross\\-------------\\1\cdot x=1(1)/(4)\cdot3.20\\\\x=1.25\cdot3.20\\\\x=4\\\\Answer:\£4.00$
