Jens car did, because she got 28 miles to the gallon while Sue only got 25 miles to the gallon

Both cars got miles per gallon.
Sue's car got (300 miles) / (12 gallons) = 25 miles/gallon .
Jen's car got (140 miles) / (5 gallons) = 28 miles/gallon .
