50 multiplied by.20 equals 10 so 10-50 equals 40. Then 40 multiplied by .08 equals 3.20 so 3.20 plus 40 equals 43.20

50 * .20 = 10, subtract 10 from 50= 40 * .08 = 3.2. add 3.2 to 40= final cost $43.20
