Ok you minus 7 from both sides so it’s 3x = -18 then you divide 3 from the problem on both sides then ur left with x=-6

Answer:

x= -6

Explanation:

3x + 7 = -11

3x = -18 (By doing - 7 from both sides)

x= -18/3 (By dividing by 3 from both sides)

x= -6 (-18 divided by 3 is equal to -6)

Confirmation:

3(-6) + 7 = 11

-18 + 7 = -11 (Correct)
