If one quadrant equals 90 degrees then 25m+22 plus 9m equals 90 degrees solve the equation for x first combine like terms then subtract 22 from 90. (25m+22) + (9m)= 90 34m+22=90 34m=68 Divide 68 by 34 and m=2 You can also plug 2 back into both equations and add the results. ( to equal 90). Angle HLG is 18

m\angle HLG + m\angle HLI=90\\ 9m+25m+22=90\\ 34m=68\\ m=2\\ m\angle HLG=9\cdot2=18^(\circ)
