Vicky came home from the matinee at 5:45 pm.The travel time to and from the cinema was 1/2 hr each way . She spent 2 1/4 hrs at the cinema . What time did she leave home.

2:30 because she spent an hour driving(5:45-1hour=4:45) and then minus 2hours and 15 minutes= 2:30
