please help me!

A cylindrical propane tank is filled for a cost of $0.03 per in3. The tank has a radius of 24 in. and a height of 60.5 in. What is the cost to fill the propane tank? Use 3.14 to approximate pi.

step one on this problem would be to write the equation you need.
V= \pi r^2 h \\ and \\ P=.03V Pwould be Price, r your radius, h your hight, and V your volume. now lets plug them in
109,422.72= (3.14) (24)^2 (60.5) \\ 3282.6816=(.03)(109,422.72) therefor the answer would be $3282.68 or $3282.69 depending on if you always round up with money or not in your class (in the real world this is common). if you need help understanding plase let me know.
