You visit a new park that has a different set of rules for the slide, and you aren’t exactly happy about it. This is like any culture. They are familiar with their space, their money, their land, and suddenly someone else comes in, and they’re not crazy for it. The cultures might often argue about land, or, their home. Like on the Trail of Tears, the American Indians were pushed out of their own land and forced to leave. That’s an example of cultures interacting.

The country of Canada is a good example of the consequences when cultures interact because there are people from over 40 countries who live here and the result is an enrichment of life for the original First Nations and white European settlers in terms of for example, new foods introduced. In Vancouver, BC one can obtain pizza, Greek food, sushi, curry and tandoori and Halal meats, Mexican tacos and enchiladas, french cuisine, etc thanks to the cultural diversity. Another example are the Sikh temples that keep their door open so that anyone that is hungry can go in and eat food that is always available and hot for free.
