How many grams of copper will be produced if 1.00 mole of Copper(Ii) oxide reacts in excess hydrogen gas? CuO + H2 = Cu +H2O

use stoichiometry to solve this problem. We know that 1.00 mole of CuO is (about) 45g, and we also know that the ratio of CuO to Cu is 1:1, meaning that 1 mole of CuO can be used to produce 1 mole of Cu. Look up the molar mass of Cu on the periodic table to see the answer.
