A number and a variable side by side indicate a product.

For example, 101a means the same thing as 101 · a.

In the same way, 39g + 6 means the same thing as 39 · g + 6.

It means that the variable is multiplied by the number.

Examples:

' 17k ' means ' seventeen times k ' .

' 44D ' means ' D multiplied by 44 ' .

' t/9 ' means ' t divided by 9 ' .
