A sine function in the form:


y=A\sin(B(x+C))+D

has its period equal to 2/B, and its frequency equal to the reciprocal of that.

Simply put, the period and the frequency are reciprocals of each other.

So, it the frequency is equal to 2, then the period is equal to 1/2.
