2x - 3y = -12 ⇒ 2x - 3y = -12⇒ 2x - 3y = -12
x + y = 1 ⇒ 2(x + y) = 1⇒ 2x + 2y = 1
y = -11
2x - 3y = -12
2x - 3(-11) = -12
2x + 33 = -12
- 33 - 33
2x = -45
2x = -45
2 2
x = -22.5
(x, y) = (-22.5 , -11)
