ok so you will multiply 12 times 10 or you could add 12 + 12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12+12 add them up and it will be $120

In order to solve this, we need to figure out how much ONE student spends.

(12dollars)/(4students) = 3 dollars per student.

If 10 student spent for lunch, we just have to multiply our number by how much each student spends.

10students* (3dollars)/(student) = 30dollars
