$6\ km\ in\ 3\ hours\\\\ 10\ km\ in\ x\ hours\\\\ proportion:\\ 6-3\\ 10-x\\\\ cross\ multiplication\\\\ 6x=3*10\\\\ 6x=30\ \ \ | divide\ by\ 6\\\\ x=5\\\\ It\ will \ take\ 5\ hours.$
