Answer:

6.75

Explanation:

Since, when we rounded a decimal number to 2 significant figures,

We check the thousandth digit, ( third digit after decimal )

If thousandth digit is less than 5 then the hundredth digit ( second digit after decimal ) will be rounded to preceding number while if it is 5 or more than 5 then the hundredth digit will be rounded to succeeding number,

∵ 9 > 5

Hence, 6.7493 ≈ 6.75
