Marcel Breuer is nowadays known as one of the most famous modern architects and designers of the world. His fame responds to his work and a good example are the tubular steel chairs also known as the Wassily Chairs that he designed around 1925 and 1926. These chairs were called like that because Breuer duplicate one for the painter Wassily Kandinsky as a gift.
