so subsitute 2x+7 for y
2x+7=-x^2+2x+7
subtract 2x+7 from both sides
0=-x^2
obviously x=0
then subsitute
0 for x
y=2(0)+7
y=0+7
y=7

the answer is
x=0
y=7
