Another way you can find which is less or greater is cross multiply. Take the 5 from 5/6 and x with the 3 from 1/3 that will give you 15. Put 15 over 5/6. Now the same for 1/3. Take the 1 and x it with 6 that will be 6 put 6 over 1/3 so what number is bigger over each fraction 15 so that means 5/6 is greater . Hope this helps
