(a) 3b^3*4b^5=(3*4)b^(3+5)=12b^8 \\ \\ (b) (3x^2y^3)/(9y^5) = (3x^2y^3)/(3y^3*3y^2) ^(/3y^3)= (x^2)/(3y^2)
