Answer:

In excess, anything is bad. (see explanation).

Step-by-step explanation:

What is ambition? Ambition is one's desire and determination to achieve. It is your drive; what keeps you motivated to accomplish a task. A person of the sort needs to know their own limits. How much is too much? It's good to be motivated and driven by success. But being overly ambitious can seriously put you and others in harms way. When one's ambition is running wild and they are inclined to succeed no matter what is thrown at them, it can be dangerous. Say you were taking on a job; One that required a lot of socializing and formality. If you were to be overly-ambitious, you would run the risk of coming off as tedious to someone in a high position-- or you may risk damaging a relationship with a coworker due to recklessness. Too much of it is harmful, especially depending on what the situation is. It may lead to catastrophic failure, burnout, and a warped sense of practicality. So yes, in excess, ambition is a no-go.

Hope this helped :3
