$\begin{cases} 2x+y-4=0 \\ 2x-y-4=0\end{cases}\\ + \ \ -------\\ 4x-8=0\\ \\4x=8 \ \ /:4\\ \\x=(8)/(4)\\ \\x=2$

$2x+y-4=0\\ \\ 2*2+y-4=0\\ \\ 4+y -4 =0\\ \\y=0\\ \\\begin{cases} x=2 \\ y=0\end{cases}$
